I guess the person who's got the most interesting life in the Philippines is a very famous showbiz personality named Kris Aquino. Daughter to an assasinated senator, daughter to the first woman president in Asia, wife to the Most Valuable Player of the Philippine Basketball Association, ex-wife to an estafa-accused TV personality, ex-lover of a TV personality known for being a 'chick boy', loveteam partner to the ugliest Pinoy showbiz icon in the 80's endorser to more than 20 commercial products, host to more than 10 shows since 1990, mother to a special child, sister to a recent senatoriable - Kris surely has the spiciest life in the Philippines.. Just recently, the issue on his present husband's affair with a woman named Hope sparked the interest of more individuals.. Now she's crying again - just like before, only, for different reasons. We're so used to see her like this - in fact, seeing her issues is a public mannerism, something the Philippines is just so used to see..
In this note I think she could affect everyone..
Her poplularity shakes every parcel of land in the nation..
Her issues could even make marks on Filipino politics..
So now, what could you actually say about Kris???
Is she likeable to you???

Though I admire her for being so good in her chosen field, I have just sort of gotten fed up with all the drama lately. From Alvin Patrimonio to Philip Salvador to Joey Marquez to James yap...who's next? I guess some problems can best be resolved within the marriage domain and drag the whole Filipino public into it. Let's face it, Kris is more popular than James so it's but natural that James gets the blame and Kris gets all the "poor baby" comment. But who are we to make decisions as to who wronged who when we aren't living with one of them? Why does Kris feel the need to wash her dirty linen in public every time? Oh well, it's because she's banking on the support of her fans (because she has a lot) who's going to rally behind her and do not consider if she's done something to aggravate the problem.
I'm sorry but I sound the devil's advocate in here. I just hate showbiz overly sensationalized domestic squabbles. We all have issues within our homes. Why don't we just face them and not talk about what we should do if we were in some celebrity's shoes?

kris aquino is my idol i love her i admire her and i like her she is so true when she see something she always i like that or i dont like that i love kris coz she is very strong woman and she faith in god i love you kriz

everyone is interested in her and her life coz she talks about it openly and sometimes she share things that should have been kept to herself only.. thats the fascination of most people towards kris... she is articulate and intelligent yet at times pretty much naive about life.. somehow she is stubborn but definitely she is good as a host...

i like her. i always watch her game show specially game ka na ba and deal or no deal. and she makes me laugh because of her straight to the point question and answer. she is an honest person and i admire her. she is intelligent but all of us has a problem. who doesnt? but still of all the bad things that is happening to her she stand for it. she is God-fearing and always trust God. i know she will pass all the trials of life.

some just say that kris aquino is a very tactless person who needs a thirst for her to be on front page or to be in a controversy. i think she had some emotional problems and because she is famous, those things she don't want the public to know is irresistible for she, by birth is actually famous.

I do apreciate Kris Aquino's smartness, intelligence and beauty. She has the guts and very influencial because of her family background. However, she's not perfect like anyone else. She might be very successful in her showbiz and hosting career but there's always an aspect of one's life that makes a person unperfect. In her case, that might be her lovelife. As you all know, she isn't that successful with her past marriage and lovers. Well, I just hope James Yap is now the right one, but I still doubt it. Plus, she has a special child and her father had been assasinated.
She might have enjoyed her being popular but Kris is just like one of us who experience sufferings and pains in life. She can be very weak and very strong at times too. :)

Kris Aquino is now an icon in the local showbiz and entertainment scene. Everybody knows of Kris Aquino. The fact is it's either you like her or you don't. For now, since her shows are still making ratings, means that she really has a good following here.
Kris is still here to stay for us whether we like it or not. She has already developed a strong influence among the players of the local industry and she could easily yield that power and influence from time to time.
I still love Kris despite of all the controversies she manage herself into. She survived them all with flying colors. And i know that with the latest debacle she is facing, she could managed to be a stronger person again for this.

I like her because she's true to her feelings. It's not really on the entertainment department but it's because she symbolizes like almost all Filipina wives who were being subjected by their husbands. Her experiences really molded her to what she is now. At times, we have to wonder how can one endure so much?

Well I think you have quite an amount of sympathy for Pinays with experiences similar to that of Kris - I wouln't blame you for than, in fact I do appreciate such response. Many Pinays have actually been subjected to such kinds of emotional torture.. But this case might just be a little different.. Unlike many 'abused' Filipinas, Kris was not physically 'controlled' by his husband - she never received bruises or so, instead she was hurt by manner of an unexpected phenomenon which, I believe loomed from a hurt heart of a man.. You know, the lady earns more, the guy's ego was stabbed.. Things might have just been exagerrated by the media, which of course would side to Kris. I am not in defense of the guy, and I'm not saying that what he did was correct, however, I am just trying to think of things on a different prespective. What can you say about this??? B-)

one thing i like about her is her being frank. but most of the times, i dont like her because of her 'mata-pobre' attitude, and she keeps on picking on things that doesn't appeal to her. she thinks she's perfect or way above everybody else

You sure think she's very unlikeable. Well I must admit there are times that I actually have the same sentiment as yours with regards to this woman (Kris). Can you find anything good about her? Well, as far as I am concerned, she's quite good a host!! Though she's a gossip addict, I think she handles her shows quite well.. Compare the Game KNB then and now, it's a little boring these days having Edu as the host right?

I only admire her smartness and sharpness nothing more than that. Her involvement to men is nothing unusual to showbizness. I hope she could just live a normal life away from politics and showbizness, I mean she's got good fortune and all. She can just stay home and be a wife.

i think that she's making her life too public. yes i know that she's a public property but i think that she should know when to keep things in her life that is not meant to be broadcast with the whole people of the country watching and listening. i mean, who cares. people are interested to those kind of things because some really mind others life but if you feed them nothing them they will say nothing. rumors is rumors. there really are people who makes false atatements but the impact is not that serious causing you the heartaches because you know yourself its just a rumor. btu when the issue came from your mouth, well you desrve to feel like that. soryy but thats my opinion.

I like Kris! She is intelligent, witty, honest, and a great host. ( I don't like her much as an actress though.) She has made several mistakes in her life, but who hasn't?? Yes she is rich, but she is successful in showbiz because she worked hard for it.

well at first shes very entertaining and amiable but now i think that she went too far on her private life..she must not reveal it to the media no matter what..why affected on thsoe when the experiences she met fromher ex-joy was much more intriguing.. and very worsts at that..no matter what public figure she may right now at least she have the decency not to reveal it..this woman allegedly's her husbands lover is not on her level so why taking the bait?? it looks more degrading..but maybe she wants sympathy from the public..is this reallyw aht she wanted...why not give the benefit of the doubt her husband..remember hes more younger than kris..kris must adjust and a little bit understandings its just a first offense if its true ..but i guess its not ..sow hy the tantrums infront of camera??

I think she's nice but spoiled brat..She's a loving mother and a very sweet friend. We all have seen her encountering family problems but manage to go on and face it..Yes!She got herself stressed out but I believe she's doing her best to keep everything in private and solve it within their family..God balances everything...She may be rich and envied by many but still have so many problems that we can't imagine...

she's an intelligent woman who's downright dumb when it comes to men and love. she washes her laundry in public, is rumored to have been brought to Makati Med's The Basement, and is just so full of herself i believe. i do not like her but one could not discount the fact that she can make game and talk show's ratings soar.
