I am just curoius where people live that talk on mylot. What country? Do you like where you live? What are some things you like and dislike about where you live? I live in the US, I like it here because I am used to it, lived here my whole life. I don't think the grass is greener somewhere else, I think everywhere had their advantages and disadvantages. I was just curious about other places. Or why people are where they are.

Hello I live in Sri lanka, it is an island at the southern tip Of india.. it is also known as the pearl of the Indian ocean.. the beaches here are popular, i guess mainly caz it ll seem really cheap, for foreigners.. we do export tea as well.. its a very slow n peaceful life, but economically it is in a very bad state.. n i know for sure that the grass is greener on the other side:-) would love to move to America

I've lived in the US (georgia to be exact) for the last 3 years and it has taken some getting used to, to be honest. A little too conservative and bible-thumpy for my tastes. I moved here with my family from Canada where I had lived for 17 years and before that I lived in Scotland where I was born and raised for 19 years.

Canada..I went there once or twice as a baby, as I lived in Maine only minutes from the border we would go over for an afternoon, so I am told, as I do not remember...Never been to Scotland, though it seems nice. Never been to Georgia either...Mind if I ask what you mean by conservative?

I live in Denmark. Apart from the freezing weather during the winter this is really paradise on earth. I wouldn't change a thing :-)

I live here in the Philippines and what I do love most about our Country is that we have a good seasons, a dry and a wet season within a year and also we can have free time whenever we wanted to, no one would bother you unless you are working in some other Company not your own.

I can imagine how great you are feeling living in the US. I am from Nigeria and I like it not because of the anything, but because God knows why he made me a Nigerian and I strongly believe He (God) will lift me up when the time comes. Some of the things I like here is the talents the country, but I don't like the way poor people are being neglected. I mean so many things here. Taking myself as an example, I am supposed to be in college or university by now, but because of financial constraint, I am not in school. That is why at times I feel like moving out of Nigeria to countries like UK, US, Australia, Canada etc, because one will get education no matter the condition. Life without money here is Nigeria hell, but I know God'll help me soon. Thanks and have a nice day.

I am from the U.S., but now live in Mexico. I am retired U.S. military, and I moved here to Mexico, mainly because the cost of living is about half of that in the U.S., the folks are normally friendly, and most of them speak English.
