i stopped my emails , I now have over 200 friends and it frightened me when I saw all the emails , I respond to friends discusions , I read and rate all my replies and yes I know we are not supposed to reply to our responsea but I just can't help it as everyone is so nice , i think its nice we make a bit of money but I think that is secondary here to be honest xx

Yes, I don't think it's any fun not to converse a bit! And also read.. I would imagine we could make more money if we hardly read anything and didn't take time to actually converse.. But what fun, or how interesting would that be?

Hi Weemam, I also rate all my responses and I rate everything I read and try to read my friend responses to rate them. I'm not here for the money either but it is nice ...like gravy on the potatoes we can eat ht spuds without it but it sure is nice to have it.As I go along I learn new ways to help increase my earning and when I do I try to pass it on to my friend. So I respond to as many as I can so they can benefit too. Thanks for being friend ..you are one of my favorites. R

I know this is going to sound wrong but mylot clearly states not to reply to your responses. I know it is the right thing to do but they clearly state not to do it because it dosnt earn you any money. I only reply to certain responses and not all of them. Hope ths helps.

Id like to point out that there is no need to reply to all your discussion posts... at the end of the day people only respond to those they would like to hear more from etc... i understand struggling to respond to all your friends discussions i too have the same problem as many of my friends have the same intersts as me. However... i take each day as it comes... i go into discussions my friends have started and respond to maybe 10 a day... i rarely start my own discussions as i have some with over 100 replies and some with less than 10... i couldnt reply to them all... but it doesnt affect your rating or your number of posts when you reply... although it is curtious to reply you do not have to reply to them all as some people do not even look back at discussions they have responded to after they have responded... hope this helps

I have been here for a month lol and I am lost hahhaa..I have around a thousand mails in my inbox and I can't get through allof them..plus answering posts to newbies and zero response discussions..I think firstly reply to the ones that you are closest too and then work your way outwards ..have some posts reserved for newbies and 0 responses.that way new people get to see you and you are not only in a small circleof friends..It also helps boost other'smoral..just try to go through friendsin rotation..do one person's one post then go onto another persons post..then if you have time do more than one post of a friend's..that way you can try and do abit of every thing..

Well, the best I will suggest is to check where your interest lies and how much audience does your subject gathers. Starting something thats interesting but to get the response you have to have it placed correctly under the right interests. ABout replied I will say is.. its just how u make it a happening discussion..

Beside the avatar of my friends, they all read "notify off" - I did this early on, as I soon realized all the emails are just a distraction. I do the best I can, checking into "discussions my friends have started" every time I come online, and the "discussions I've started" every few days.. And I try to have fun with discussion.. using the "related links" list at the bottom of discussion pages and my own "interests" to surf around.. I've been into discussion for a long time. I like the features (less chance of not finding interesting discussions) and also find more politeness here. I actually stayed away from discussion for a good while as there seemed to be so much bitterness and mean spirited debate going on, which actually equals no debate, let alone helpful discussion. Maybe it's the getting paid a litle keeps the atmosphere more courteous.. (not perfect I'm sure but better). Happy Mylotting!

I was so overwhelmed a week ago I asked the same question and I got alot of good answers. I don't know how to put a link into this answer for that discussion but you can look under my discussions and find it if you want.

I don't think there is an easy way to do this. I don't think there is enough time in a day to do everything Mylot expects of us. It is hard to keep up with all of it plus do the daily things that most of us have to do in our lives. I only get to be in Mylot 5 days a week and the other 3 days, I am not online. Those 2 days my husband is home from work and I spend time with him and my daughter on those days. I get really behind and the discussions get very backed up. I just try to go through them and respond to as many as I can get to each day. I don't know if I will ever actually get caught up on them. I sign offline every day around 5:00 p.m. and I don't get back on until the next day. I have too many things to get done in the evening too. Summer is coming up and I will also have yard work to do. Just try to do your best is all that you can do. There is only so much time and energy in each day.
