I just went through my friend here on my lot. I deleted some who have not logged in, in 5 days or more. Does anyone else do this? If so what criteria do, you use to delete them?

Once I had added someone into my friend list , I think I am not going to delete them. Honestly I do not know how to do it ,even I know, I think I will keep them, they may be just too busy so that they do not log in for 5 days or more, they may come back later and catch up with your discussions, so why not give them a chance..??

I agree with you. I just wish I had created this post before I did it. After creating it, I see the other side of how people are busy and cannot always get here. I hope that my former my lot friends will forgive and ask me back.

I didn't cleaned up for my friends in mylot. even i will not clear also, because we can delete there names and data in our friends list, but just few minutes you think of that they are replied to your discussions and you have selected them as a friend, can you tell me do you delete your parents from your heart if they are not in front of you for a few day's just it is like that, suppose they may be log tomorrow either they are busy with their personal work. just i will give you a single example my first friend in mylot is Ms. username "yurikakok77" since a few months she has not logged her profile due to family problem and she had sent a personal mail to me. but till i didn't delete her name in mylot because friends is a gift. sorry for lack of words. at least tell me is their any profit to delete their names in your list. Cheers.

Deleting my parents would be like removing a body part, they are blood. Where as friends in my lot are not that close. However, I do see your point and I have made an error in deleting. I hope my former my lot friends can forgive me and give me a friend request again. Thanks for setting me straight and making some good points.

i alway check my friend out before i aprove them.to make sure they dont copy an paste other members discussion an responses.an i read some of their discussion they have started to make sure they havent post crazy discussion.like {whats you fav.color} or [were the sun}.stuff like that.this way it will save you time from deleteing them later own.if i were you i wouldnt delete friends just because they havent logged in 5 days, some do work alot an have other things to do..but when they do logged in "then you may be the frist friend they response to...if they havent logged in a month or so then delete them.that shows they have no intrest in mylot.

I have not been here that long to delete any of my friends and then I am not sure that I would even delete them then. If you leave them on there they will be back.

see i am new over here and only have till now have few friends only. But i don't think that you should delete them from your list once you are friend with someone. On the basis which you described should not be flowed to delete the friends. If i have to delete any one of them then i should have a proper reason for that, or rather he must be doing bad things to me then only i would be removing him from my list so that i can do my work easily.

I do cull my friendship often as I find I do not have the time to give them all the time they need for their discussions.I usually go by the length of their visits, the average per day of their contribution, and their discussion and response quality.I wish I could spend more time, but I do have a life outside MyLot(albeit a small one).

Yes. You we may delete those we found inactive but not on 5 five days.:) Three months would be fair I guess. Some of our friends here might be busy enough to make it everyday. But regardless of their status I may say that I love making friends. What is interesting here in My lot is that I learn a lot. I discover a lot. And in my little way of reposding to their post I know I do help even a little. Plus of course the bonus because we got paid. :)

Hmm, surprised you haven't deleted me yet then, I usually only log on when I am at work and sometimes that is only a couple times a week. I delete friends on here if they post a lot of discussions that I don't think are worth answering or if they have little to no points and never log on. It's hard to keep up with the discussions you really want to answer when you have a couple hundred friends.

I haven't cleaned mine out yet but I probably should. I would do it based on the topics the person posted about, if it is things I am interested in or have something to say I would keep them....but I have a few that post alot of ramdon things so I should just get rid of them.

You're right, I should not delete them. It's funny how I thought I was doing some good. I should have posted the form BEFORE I deleted them. But some do not respond to any of my disccussions. Knowing you have (and hopefully will) is why I did not even think about deleting you. Thanks!

I am new to myLot so the situation has never risen. But thinking of it, I think it is good to do some house cleaning once a while. No point of having extra baggages. Having quality friends, will make our paticipating in myLot an enjoyable one and a good money making site. Cheers

I don't delete my friends even though they have been missing for many days. Sometimes we will never know the reason why they are not posting. May be they have other more important things to take care of. By keeping them, i would still be able to look at their postings when they get back to myLot. :)

I haven't done this and this is the first post I've read about cleaning out mylot friends... well, it could be because I don't have a lot of friends on my list yet thus I never thought of this one. Maybe I will when I get a bunch of them though. :P
