Can haveing lots of money bring you happiness?

Can being well off enough to make a mini house out of money, really bring you happiness and peace. If you are in serious debt then its an obvious yes, but what if you are not?? I knew someone who got lucky and won 100k i think, and he was over the moon as the saying goes. But a few weeks later they said they wish they never won it..So is it just to do with the people or is happiness something that money can not give???

Well, sometimes it can really bring happiness but we shouldnt put in our minds that money alone can make us happy,,there are other elements of life that could make us happy and money isnt the center of it, but a part of it

I agree with respondent #1, money can make life easier and lessen stress, but it doesn't necessarily make you happy. I would need more to life than money.
However, in a lot of polls, it has been shown that richer people say that they're happy more often than poorer people.

Money can make ones life easier, but it does not buy happiness. No matter how one tries true happiness comes from the actual person and the type of people the person surrounds themselves with.
