Who are we

I have always wondered whether we have an actual purpose to be here. When I think of it, we make life better, or maybe worse (depending on what you believe), for the next generation. But why? Why actually are we put through love, hate, life and death? Is there really a reason? I suppose the reason of this thread to ask you guys what you think the point of life is........? And why we are put through so much, for nothing

We are all here for a reason. We are here because this is the gift of God and He wants us to witness the Miracle of life.When we are suffering a lot of pains it doesnt mean that God wants us to hurt.He wants us to be a better person and He wants to share the road He takes.Life is full of Mystery. But the more you appreciates life the more you reliazed how wonderful it is!

When i consider the reason for life to exists, i can only imagine that it is not life that exists for a purpose, but that humans exists in order to experience life, so the reason for the Universe to exists in the end must be to create humans that in turn understand the ways that it created us, hence we are suffering, as such all things also suffer, that is an Budisthic set of mind, such that only detachment from desire of all things can attain peace of mind. As for my own reason to exists, well only the universe knows that :)

i think it is not a question of why..then a question of this is what we have and WHAT are we going to do with that?
i think we are here for an unknown reason
and i do think maybe it's a long term expirment that god had decided to do..to see what does little human being are going to do with their life..would they be happy? would they be able to enjoy what was given to them?
maybe this is the answer: god's expirament..lol:)

actually that question goes through everyone of us.. people who really answer that .. become succesfull others just live their life and die without leaving a trace..you should have some purpose for being born..you shouldnt search for the purpose.. instead you should make one

Just a little question today then. The meaning of life is to make of it what you want. If you want to have a wife and kids and live a nice family life then do it. If you want to be a successful buisnessman then do that.
I'm trying to say that i don't believe there is any higher meaning for our existence on life, I just believe that you and i are lucky enough to have this fantastic gift so we should just make the most of it and enjoy it while its here
