Questions regarding mylot.

March 12, 2007 10:43pm CST
I was wondering if anyone could answer this question; When you get paid does your earnings amount go back to $0.00? Or does it keep the total of what you earned. (I haven't received a payment yet) Also I was wondering if you was excited by your first payment? I'm planning to safe up mine then by something special for certain people in my life. (my wife + son) hehe Thanks, ~Joey

Hmmmmm I only get 2$ last month since I dfont post anything for a month. I think they reset earning points after they paid you ^^ Its easier for ppl who already get money more than once. They only need to see Mylot earning on left side about they earning for the month ^^ Good luck. Seeing Ur post count, U are great poster and will earn a lot ^^

The month that you reach payout is when they turn your account back to zero. So,in my case,I received my payout this month and it shows I have only made 89 cents since I have been eligible (I am only a part-timer).But I do feel certain I will be close again to payout either this month or next.I was VERY surprised and elated when I first saw my earnings in my Paypal account and want to remain a member for a long, long time.

They don't turn it to zero. They turn it to whatever you've earned since the first of the month after payment. They deducted the February amount when they paid it out, and left whatever you earned so far in March.

Ah that's good lonewolfnan; It would be much fun if it kept the previous amounts but I think I recall someone who told me It did remain the same. Thanks for responding buddy! I'm glad to here you was elated. I can't wait, originally I wasn't bothered at all by it but Now I'm excited because I can get away with buying presents! Kudos, ~Joey

They've changed the payment system, when I first joined your earnings continued to escalate even tho you had been paid out. For example if you had $20 and you were paid out $10, your earnings would still show $20. But now it's much better they subtract what they have paid you and you know how much is yours, if that makes sense. I was sceptical about getting paid the first time, but when I received my money in my Paypal account yes I was excited, it gave me motivation to do more on Mylot and I went straight onto Ebay to buy some DVDs!

Hmmmm It will as long as they not pay you yet. I agree with my sister (Shireishou). Dont worry, they will pay you. ^^

MY payout this last month was 35.00. As of today when I got paid, I had $40.37...they paid me the $35.00 that I got for last month and now my balance is the $5.37. The $5.37 is what I have made since Feb 28. Haven't been on much. I need to step up and post some more if I want to make payout this month. :)

I haven't been paid yet because I joined Mylot towards the end of last month and made the minimum only after 28th february.I just read the responses of the first page and that's what I thought was the answer. Once our account balance crosses the minimum($10) they pay whatever amount we make till the end of the previous month and substract it from the total amount. The remaining is carried forward to the next month's payment.I think I will be excited next month :)

It actually goes to what you have earned for March Payment once they have paid you for the month before. So what ever you see there now is already your earnings for this Month.

That is a very good question, but I never got paid yet. I want to wait until I have 100. so I can do something good with the money as well.

When you get paid your earnings don't go back to zero unless you haven't earned anything past the time Mylot cut off for that payment schedule. It doesn't keep the total of what you have earned. It shows the remaining balance left if any that you have accrued for the next payment. I got paid yesterday or sometime this morning and it has my balance left over that I have earned so far this month. I was very excited for my first payment and I tried really hard for the next payment but I got sick with the flu and couldn't be very active. I hope this months earnings are alot better than what I earned the last time from not being able to be very active. I cash mine out every month but I am also saving mine up to buy some things for me and my family. That is a very good idea.

First, they subtract your payment out of the earnings you see on the left. BUT it usually doens't go back to zero. For example, by March 15, you will get paid out (if you hit the $10) for anything you earned BEFORE FEB 28. So between Feb 28 and March 15, you are still making earnings. THOSE STAY. So you don't go back to zero, you go back to what you have earned from the start of the month. By March 31, if you reach $10 or HIGHER, they will pay that to you between March 31 and April 15. Does that make sense? So if you are active, you will still be earning, and your balance doesn't go to zero.

yes after payment the earnings will go down and start again. I just got my payment for February, that's my first since I only joined the last few days in january. if you set minimum payment to $ 10 and you earn $ 11 in february total then you will be paid $ 11 in march. by the time you got paid you will probably have earned $ 14 so then after payment, your account will go down to $ 3 for you to build again

What I had made from march was still left there. I had about 4 dollars left over after they took the rest for payment. I have to add that getting that payment felt really good, it wasn't a fortune or anything but it felt as good as if it was LOL

well i still have not got my payment cause i set it to 100$ but there is a logic that when they transfer the money your earning amount go back to 0$

Once you get paid it does go back to zero or whatever you have accumulated beyond the earning period. For example if you had made $35 till not and $20 in Feb, on getting paid this month($20) $15 will be displayed on your home page. I was surely excited about my first payment and to tell you frankly I'm excited just the same everytime I receive a payment. I got my 3rd payment today:)

You are joking, right? I mean, you have 1807 posts already, you must at least already got your payment for 3 times already? Oh, or you set on your account to hold the payment until higher amount? In that case, the answer is yes, your earning will be reset to $0.00 once you got your payment. Cheers.

It goes back to your current earnings for this month. You can set the limit higher in your profile so that you won't get any money until you reach that amount. I still set mine to $10, which is the minimum, but you can set yours higher if you need too.

With that number of posts and you have yet to receive any payment, I do not understand. In fact, I have already received 2 payments. You should have at least earned $50++ with that number of posts. Did you check your payment history? It will show you how much and when you were paid.
