I was bullied all the way through elementary school. I was always shy, quiet and backward so I really don't know what the deal was. I was just one of the many kids who got picked on. This one girl, who rode my bus, used to always sit in frontof me and turn around in her seat and stare at me. She told her sister to tell me she was going to beat me up after my volleyball games after school. she came to a couple of my games but she never tried to do anything, thank God. I didn't want to get beat up, nor did I want to fight her back. I didn't ever do anything to deserve it from her. I don't know what her problem was. Evidently it was me but I have no clue as to why or what I done to her.

Thank you for sharing and honest response and a "best response."
Sometimes I think if bullies know they cause you to be afraid they feel a sense of power. Often if you stand up to them just once, they show their true colors and back down..

Yes I did and I started a discussion on it as well. I was alway fat and there was a boy in grade 1 who was fat also but he punched my stomach because he wanted to punch the fat out of it.

bullying was a minor problem but sometimes kids in the same class as me try to show off by shoving me and calling me names. its not a problem now because i will verbally stab them with insults.

One of my friends has told me that your brain is your best defense against anyone. I think it's great that you only fight that way.

I was bullied constantly in elementary school. I was actually beaten up by a certain boy every day after school. I told my parents and of course they told his parents. It figures that I'd get stuck being in classes with his brouther through the rest of my school years.

That is so wrong! It can really ruin a child's school experience.
