I am 29 years old, but after i watch some horror movie, there is something that i feel inside.Getting afraid in the dark that sometimes, i need to run or walk fast.Lol!I dont know but it makes me see those scary faces in the dark and feel like they are behind me. But i need to be tough and pretend that i am okay especially when me and my kids are walking to get something downstairs and i need to switch on the light first. Did you ever experienced this too?

I wonder why the horror movies are so popular these days. Do people really like to be scared? I have watched some of them and it affects my mind - not in an upbuilding way - and that is why it is better see some positive things on tv. Lately I have learnt how much our thinking affects our lives, I have understood better how important is to feed our mind with good and happy thoughts, thoughts that help us to be kind, lovable personalities. Just remembering all the things we have that we can be greatful for, makes us relaxed and is a good start for positive thinking. Our mind affects our health too, and that is an important thing to remember.

I have no problem watching horror movies. Most of the time I found that they were more funny than scary. May be it was due to the fact that I have not seen a real ghost. Do they really exist? I hope not. :p

I've been really disappointed with all the horror and "scary" movies that I've seen. They just don't scare me at all. I couldn't even get interested in "Psycho." And horror stories are so fake that they are practically laughable. I wish I could find a GOOD movie in this genre that makes your heart skip a beat. But, so far, no luck!

I've never been that way. Actually, some used to call me a demented child. LOL. When I was very small and playing in my play pen, Texas Chainsaw Massacre was playing on t.v. and when he killed someone my mom said I laughed and got excited. She said that scared her, but I have always loved horror flicks and have even written a few horror stories myself.

When I was around 16 yrs old I use to be scared, but now I won't watch a scary movie unless it is dark inside. I have overcome that fear because I finally realized that it is all fake.

No, horror films or "scary movies" are not even scary to me anymore. Most of them are just very repetative. I have seen it all before. The scariest film that I ever had to watch was watching my brother die, no horror film can beat that reality.

Hehe I know what you mean. I get really freaked out after watching horror movies, and I have to cling to my husband! lol I don't like being alone in the house after I've seen those kind of movies, and especially if it's dark!

I don't watch horror movies because they give an entrance to fear in my life and the Bible commands that we fear not. Why on earth people want to watch something that makes them afraid is beyond me. Fear is a dangerous thing because it opens the door to fear in all areas of your life and fear enables things to come to pass that you don't want to come to pass. Fear works against you and your life so why would you want to open the door to it?

I am the same way. I hoped that I would grow out of it but I am still terrified of scary movies. I usually watch them in the mourning so I can sleep at night. One time I watched a movie right before bed and I could not sleep for four hours! I really wish I could get over it but it is so terrifying when I see the scary faces even though I know they are not real.
