hey do u know anything abt sore throats and lock jaws?

ive been having a really bad sore throat for the past few days and now the tonsils are swollen and i somehow feel like my jaw is locked...my words are coming out slurred and i can feel like a clamp or something around my chin area...is this something i should be alarmed of and go see the doctor again or just wait till i finish my medicine?
