Does anyone go back and check discussions they responded too?

I really wanna know if anyone goes back and checks any of the discussions they have responded to to see if the person who wrote it has left a comment or do they just reply to a comment and carry on and forget about it?? I ask because i see many people asking questions or being asked a question once they have left a comment and the person who wrote the question never gets an answer because they never come back.
Also because I am one of the people to reply to as many comments i can within reason of course as i get hand cramp and your are not supposed to reply to everyone... are my efforts for nothing or do people come back and check what i have to say back to them???

I go back sometimes, but usually only if my reply is on the first page. It gets too bad too time consuming to figure out where my reply is if there are a lot of pages. If I was on broadband I wouldn't mind, but waiting for page loads on dialup takes too much time.

Dial up is so slow, but I will always try to find my reply no matter where it is. I guess I haven't had the problem of having to go back more than 2 pages so far for a reply. I guess I have been lucky in that respect. I know broadband would be so much simplier on here with mylot though. ;0)

I do sometimes go back if I'm really interested in the discussion, however a lot of times I answer so man yin a day I don't get the time to go back and check.
If mylot emailed me to say I had a response I would go and look at it.

I know what you mean michelle although you may not see this I too answer a lot of discussions a day (but the number is decreasing each day as I find less and less I want to reply to each day)

Yes, I go back often. Sometimes I will comment again, but a lot of times I don't. But, if it's a discussion that I posted to a long time ago, I may forget it, or it's so buried that I can't find it.

I usually do. The way I see it, if it's really a conversation then we need the back and forth of a real conversation. If someone does give me a comment, or if there is more to comment on in a conversation, then I will continue to add. Of course, if I go back once or twice and there's nothing there anymore then I'll let it go. I do like to go back though, because sometimes people ask questions or offer me some clarification.

Whenever i log on to mylot , i make it a point to check the discussions tht i have started as well as the one's to which i have responded to....

I like to go back and see if the people I responded to have left a comment. Also, on some of the more interesting ones, I want to know what the opinions are of other people who respond to the discussion. Some days, I forget to answer new posts because I'm busy reading the posts and comments of friends etc. Good thing I'm not in this for the money LOL.

I do the same. Sometimes I even end up spending the time one discussion cuz there are so many great responses im like wow cant stop now! lol

Hello pretty , fluffy fliffy !
I always go back to see the replies to my discussions , because :
1. Usually the discussions I start are about issues I am genuinely curious about (the more the genuine the inquiry , the least likely it is to get replies)
2. I want to show my appreciation , especially if anyone from my friends list replied .
Except in the only 2 discussions that got more than 20 replies , I got bored reading all the replies because they were so many and most of them were the same essentially .

i try to view all of my responded comments after a day maybe he/she replied my respond.this is a discussion between us and it's not for once , so i belive i must see my last page responds to make more comments if i had repliying comment.it's the best way to make friends and earn cash here.But some times i have no more time to see all of my comments becuase of my low internet speed , you know some times there are lot's of discussion which you selected and parted with , you must search lot's of page if she/he might answer your respond and it takes several miniuts.

Many people have said they are unable to because of low speed. In all honesty I cant relate as I have broadband but I am sorry to those who cant go back and see if the writer has replied to them

I check in frequantly on everything i post, and check up on discussions ive posted on that im really interested in the results and possible addistions. I rate every single on ein everysingle discusion i come across. Give best answers, to all my posts (as they come) and the whole 9. I usually check out people who gave me a good response to see if a possible mutual interests friendship is possible, liek im scoping you now and your page of posts.

lol. thank you for 'scoping' me find anything of interest? I give my best responses that i can to all discussions. Im assuming mine made an impact on yours then? Thank you for replying to mine aswell! This is what mylot should truely be about! I scratch your back and you scratch mine! If only there were more people on mylot like that!

You crazy! You got this idea from my post about responses ;) Just kidding. I actually try to. Sometimes, I forget with how many friends I try to respond to, but normally I will get to about 8 out of 10.

Well I am brand new to MyLot as of today. I am planning on trying to back to discussions especially if I am going to start a topic, I want to know what people have to think about it. As to other topics that I have responded to, it may be hard to get back to all if them to see if the creator has wrote back to me. As far as I can tell it seems like a lot of people just write to get more and more posts. I just want to make new friends and read topics that either they write or stuff that I may enjoy. The money part is just going to be an added bonus.

Im glad there are still people joining for the community and not just the money. I see you havent really made that many responses! Thats good! I have been here 4 months and made less than some who have been here 3 weeks because Im not here for the money like you said its just an added bonus!Its not too hard to get back to the ones you've responded to as their is a link on the left and it gives you all the discussions you have responded to. Just hard work if 100's of people responded to the discussion to find your reply a? lol

i have went back to check a discussion that i responded to before. the reason i did this was because i asked a question and really wanted to know the answer to my question. to my surprise, the person who started the discussion did answer my question and was very helpful to me.
for discussions where i ask a question i dont really want to know the answer to, i wont go back there to check.

thank you for your response. You deffo helped. I like to know those who go back and those who dont. Obviously some people will come back and see if I have written to them. Others won't I just find it curtious to reply to nearly everybody and if they come back and reply. they do. lol. if they dont. they dont

I do but as things get larger it's quite difficult to keep track of it! mylot's interfase is not very helpful in this matter

it took me forever to work out how to get to my discussions that i had responded to aswell. it annoyed me cuz i only got used to the old one a couple of weeks ago and they went and changed it lol! hope you will see these replies. any help you want i will help ya!

oh thank you! any help is appreciated :D to be honest I haven't seen the old interfase since I'm quite new here (registered less than a week ago) but I'm already losing track of some answers, in particular the ones who get buried under a pile of pages. The homepage is helping, this boxes who act as "filters" that show you the topics you've responded are useful, the only problem is that they give you the topic, not the page where your answer is :P

Well I try to comment on everybodys response, but if there are too many responses, I don't think I can unless of course I want my hand swelled up! If I have responded to a discussion I always check back if anybody has left a comment. I also wish people'd come back to check what comments I have left for them, but quite few do that.

I know what you mean. Sometimes I think it is a waste of time replying as some people reply to get their 2 cents or whatever and then never come back to see if ive left them a nice comment or not? lol
