I am on sick leave at the moment - have been for awhile. When i did work i think my job stressed me a lot. I am a social worker. I work with poor people, addicts, people with health problems, families in trouble. Basically i work with people that is in a difficult situation or crisis of some sort. Beeing involved in other peoples difficulties will bring stress.

I am thankful for my work. It gives me a break from home. It pays me more though not as much as I am worth. I like the people and I like the guy I work with. The work is not hard and I can work at the pace that is good for me. In fact we as a team have gotten good at working in concert and we lessen any stress that could be there. Working only at night means that my days are mine to get what I want to get done. So in my case there is only stress at home. That is quite manageable.
