Hey hi,congartulation for getting star with rating 8, that means you are doing good job here, keep doing this very soon you will reach to rating 10,as here you can make money just by answering discussions on mylot, and starting new discussions too, infact you can boost your earning by uploading photos, so keep posting quality responses, keep searching good discussions about which you know something and can answer, strictly avoid one liner posts,best luck and happy earning!!!...cheers!!

Thank you for explaining this to me. And for sharing your knowledge of how I can improve my enjoyment of Mylot. I have found peoplehere who post the most thought provoking and intriguing discussions. Someimtes its just real good fun, sometimes stretches my brain- but its a great community. People like you put a real smile on my face. thank you.

MM- thank you for your kind and encouraging words. I just posted a reponse to a discussion you started and it would not post. I starteda discussion about that and my eyebrows are all the way up in my hairline, and I try to understand the repsonses to that!?? Anyway I paraphrased and tried again and it went through, considerably shortened. Maybe that was the problem. I always enjoy seeing your comments and posts and look forward to more. thank you.

The star next to your name is what your reputation on mylot is. If you hover over your star, you can see your exact reputation out of 100. The higher the number, the better, This is determined on how you are seen as a member on mylot and the quality of your responses.
