I am trying to get some peoples opinions on this. I think it is. Graphics own. Storyline great. You can even become a vampire and drink peoples blood if you want, or not drink their blood and be more powerful. The choices are endless, and even when you beat the game you STILL can keep playing and doing more things. It is just an opinion, but i would like to hear yours. plz let me know.

Gothic, hmm never heard of it, what system is it for? is it a role-playing game? sandbox type game? what type of era does it take place in.

I have played the pc version but not the console version, you're talking about the console one, right? As for the pc version, at first i found that it has a very unique game play system ( i never played elder's scroll game before )and has lots of side quest mission, in fact most of the time i spent playing this game was to finish the side quests. But, unfortunately, the main quest story is quite linear and short, i think it would be a lot more interesting if there were more plot twist or "good and evil switching side". Although it has numerous side quest, as far as i know there is only one or two side quest that is directly related to the main story, it means you have to finished it before continuing main story, the rest of them just give you extre " thrill" like become vampire, ruling a guild, get special item ( some is very deadly ), but it isn't necessary to do all of them. Money is quite useless at the further story of the game since all of the best armor, weapon, and stuff aren't for sale, you have to and will find them when you finish main or side quest except for the spell which have to be bought at the mage guild. I think it would be great if there is special shop that sell a certain unique and valuabel items that could only be found there, of course with special price too. The houses are great, some has a very good interior, furniture and even maid, but that's it just that. I wisth the houses could be used to held a party or something not just a place to sleep or store items. Overall, i still think it's a great game, unique game play but needs more multiple ending story. When i finished it, i just feel "oh, so this is the end?" and suddenly i lost my interest in playing anymore, but that's just me.

yeah it does lack in story and ending. make it like star ocean with 100 different endings. but game play is awesome :)

LordGreg, yeah this is a very phat game. very fun to play. Have you played the 3rd one? was for the original xbox. the elder scrolls morrowind, was very deep, in that game you could become a werewolf. and you would hunt at night time. if the locals seen u change then it would start to effect your game. try it out. if you have not yet. If you like this game i recommend you give Mass Effect a try, its for the xbox 360 and only for that console. thats also a very deep game like Oblivion, but more with dialog. and its more futuristic. and when you play sometimes the games changes as you play, if you played it the first time chances are u may not see the same situations the second time.
