We often give a gift to ourselves as a reward and to keep us move forward. Sometimes, we do save and purchase the thing that we have long craved for ... a new car, a new mobile phone, a house ... So, what was the most expensive thing that you bought? We're you satisfied or disappointed with it (specially after the bill comes)?

Actually, that's the cost of a cheap property over here.

I think the most expensive I have bought for outright price is the car accessory part. That was back 10 years ago, now I don't do that anymore, I have family now so can't spend the money that much anymore.

The most expensive things that I bought were not for me alone but for the family. It's for our house, I contributed some of the materials to build it. The materials are simple but when we summed up that's how we called it expensive because there were so many materials needed. No problem with that because it's satisfying to see the results after.

My first house was the most expensive thing I have bought so far. We are looking to buy house number two, which will be more expensive than the first. I was definitly satisfied with it. It was my home for 8 years and it took good care of me. I'm glad I made the investment.

I think the most expensive thing that I have bought for myself was my mobile phone several years ago. I bought it with my first ever credit card. I'm still young so it's mostly my parents who'd been buying me stuff. Although, now that I'm married, I'm more likely to receive less gifts from my parents. I plan to buy myself a new car, from my own savings, anytime soon..

I can say that the most expensive thing I bought is a townhouse property. I have no regrets and very satisfied with my decision of purchasing one.

The most expensive thing i ever bought was our apartment. I am very happy with it after we have worked alot on making it how we like it. We bought it 5 years ago for 1 million NKr - now it is worth at least 1, 6 million. I am very happy with my investment.

The most expensive gift I bought for myself is a four-foot-tall hand-carved wooden giraffe. It was a few hundred dollars, which was my Christmas bonus from work. I absolutely love the giraffe and I do not regret for a moment purchasing it.

The most expensive, unneccessary thing I ever bought was a $150 necklace. I have only worn it about five times, but I do enjoy it everytime I wear it.

Hi. The most expensive thing I bought was a Gym Membership. I enrolled at SWI and it quite expensive but its a lifetime so i will be benefited for life. :) What I consider when buying things for my self is QUALITY. I never mind spending when I'm sure its for good. I invest on a piece or two of good jewelry than buying lots of cheaper accessories. I go for one designer watch than buying lots of regular. I am a wise buyer.

Our house was the most expensive, followed by the car. I have never been disappointed with house purchase, because it has always been profitable when we sold, and the home we have now is no exception.......... Cars though, well they start depreciating as soon as you drive them off the lot.......however, when used for business they can be a good investment. Must admit most of my cars have done me proud (though I have had a couple of lemons in my time!). All-in-all, we're usually pretty happy with our purchases. How about you?

I often buy gifts that are quite expensive for my loved ones, for parents, nephews & nieces but I think up to this moment I have never bought something really expensive for myself. In that note I should begin saving up for an expensive gift for myself this year. :)

The most exspensive thing I've ever bought with my own money is a camcorder. However, my dad decided he wanted me to get one with more features, so he paid for the extra $100. I guess that's why I'm a Daddy's girl.
