Friend

The qualities of a person that I would consider him a friend were honest,humble, simple,God-fearing,responsible and humorous person.

honesty is the biggest characteristic I look for, if you can't trust someone it effects every part of a relationship

I am very picky with friends--Some people have to prove their worth before they get to befriend me. A friend in need is a friend in deed. Some of them become an instant friend of mine when we're in a situaion where one needs/offers help from/to the other. We have the same interest/s--it's easy to befriend someone who shares the same passion because you can relate with each other.

I consider anyone a friend. Now a close friend is someone you hang with. someone that you can call anytime if you need to talk. Someone that will come running if you need them. If you are down and dont want to talk, a friend will just be there to hold your hand.

I would like to make some friends who i can trust them with everything, and when I need some help or I want someone to listen to me ,they can be available. They should be person who like to help people. I like to meet new friends because I think you can always learn something from a person,when you meet a new friend ,you will learn something new.

i had lots of friends before. and most of them are just the "come and go" type of friends. but i have a friend who had been with me all these years. she's my "through thick and thin" kind of friend. she never left me even if we parted ways in college. and now, we still have time to meet and have fun together. for me, i want a friend who will be there for me not only when she needs me, but also when i need her the most.

in a person i look for similarities with myself because that way i could relate myself to her/him. a friend should be loyal and should be there for me in my needs. and someone who is going to support me when i m going through a bad time. above all i think a friend should have quality of encouraging me with new things as well as correcting me if i m going a wrong way. (i hope i m making sense;))

Trust, loyaty and humor

For one, that friend must be there for me when I need him/her. He/she should be loyal and caring. Importantly, I would like for both of us to be on the same frequency. :)

kind, honest, loyal, respectful, etc. A good friend should treat friends the way he/she wants to be treated. He/she must keep must know how to keep promises. He/she must listen when a friend is talking. He/she must know how to share. He/she must be considerate. I believe that a friend is like a twin brother or sister. This is the reason we rely on friends so much and don't stop to think about life without them. What is it that makes a good friend? Well, first of all I am very critical of people so I have to at least like them! Then they have to not annoy me because I am easily annoyed! I really don't know how I have any friends at all!! I don't keep the same friends for very long because I get tired of them which sounds mean but that's how I feel and then I get sick of being around them all the time! I don't mind making new friends all the time LOL.

I just want one quality of a friend, not to betray the trust im giving him/her because its the very foundation of a good freindship-trust. Once trust is broken, freindship is finish.

I don't just go into friendship with someone that will not benefit me.There is a saying that say show me your friend and i will know who you are.I always look for a person that can motivate me, a person that is ready to take challenge,and a person that is always optimistic.
