Just my tough. It depend on what you wanted to do with this language skill. It's easy to learn French if it's just for to be spoken then things are more complicated if it's to be used as a professional skill. For my own experience I've never love learning French because I found it too complicated or maybe the way it have been teach that give me this impression. Imagine a language you don't speak with your parents, the first contact was frustrated.Everything is new and there's nothing to help you love it.Exercises in class were so bad, even in College and "Lycee".Then I discover English in secondary.I've immediately love it (too easy,no much complicated grammar, easy vocabulary, no subject ( in French to say Father it is : "Le" Pere, pere=father ; to say mother it's: "la" mere, mere=mother).Le and la is another dilemma in French, but in English it's just father,mother... It's because I don't like it that I can't even explain more examples for you. But if it's for to just speak it,it's easy and cool :) Hope you could read and write it because for me it's easy to learn a language when you love it. I'm in love with English since more than a decade and it's only internet that help me to improve it.

It is not that difficult to learn french my friend. Not only french let it be any language, if we know the basic words then gradually we can learn the whole language. So start with a positive attitude :)

funny cat - "Life is full of tensions even for the animals.A cup of cofee is remedy to get rid of tensions that the rats are giving me".Thats what this cat try to say
I don't think that French is a kind of difficult.Yes there are words in the French which has long spellings and yet short pronunciation. But don't be afraid!there are definite specified rules and only a few exception are there. While in English the same set of words have different pronunciation.Like go,to.Like door, poor, moon. But since we live in an environment where English is spoken frequently hence we learn it easily. So if you want to learn it you will find it very interesting.
