Hey, Julia3269, you missed Joannie Rochette. She will make the podium. (I hope, but I am biased of course, being from Canada)

Hey khalablue! I love Joannie and I hope she medals! I also left Sarah Meier off the list and she's had a great season too. Just didn't want a huge long list so I just stopped at 5. lol!

I was just teasing you. I do have to stick up for my countrymen (women) I think as far as the men go the U.S. is going to give Switzerland and France a fight with Evan Lyzacheck.(sp) He is really fantastic this year. I love watching the figure skating championships. Don't know why, I don't even know how to skate, myself.

I just love all our North American skaters may just as easily cheer for a Canadian as I would for a US skater. Maybe I'll start a men's thread tomorrow but I think Lambiel's new LP has gold medal written all over it. Joubert had a foot/ankle? injury and how well he does depends on his recovery from that. If Takahashi is having a good day he could medal but I don't see him beating a clean Lambiel. And Oda is one of my favorites - will he be on the podium? Can Sandhu put together 2 flawless skates to medal? For some reason I'm not convinced any of the US men will make the podium. Ok, I'll shut up. lol!
