Mental Block

Has anyone experience mental block before? This morning while I was doing my chores, I suddenly cannot remember basic things like my own parents telephone number, my best friend's name and even the name of the road where my son goes to school. Is this common? I wonder why it had happened.

It happens all the time. At the ATM machine, trying to remember my husband's cell number, or if I am ordering a delivery and they ask for our contact number, I just blank out. I hate it.
