It is now a trend to stay away from the families of the couple as it is seen that when another person interferes with a couple's problems. They tend to break the bond that exists between the couple.

It certainly depends on many things..The newly wed couples job location , parents'willingness to stay with them , newly weds' willingness to keep parents with them , financial status and many more thins..TOday most of the people blame the youth for not taking care of the parents but is it so?Earlier also people used to neglect their parents ..yes i agree today it has increased but that doesnt mean that all youngsters have become irresponsible. There are still many who understand their responsibility and dare to take over their shoulders

I think it's always best for a newlywed couple to live apart from their parents. There would be less conflicts with the in laws and more growth as a married couple. They would only need to adjust to each other. None of the spouses will have an unfair advantage over the other. But sometimes, due to various reasons, this is not always possible.

It is very helpfull to stay away from the parents as the couple should learn about each other and can have a lot of privacy. They do not have to worry about other problems and can care for their partners more than when they are with their parents.
