Has anyone thought they were finished having Children WHEN .....

I have heard people giving away all the baby stuff becuase they knew they were done having kids when BANG! they are expecting again. Has anyone else had this happen? if so what did you do and how did you feel?

That did not happen to me but it did happen to my mother! She was 39 when I was born. When she got pregnant she thought she had hit menopause and gave away all the baby stuff to the neighbors. HA HA! When she found out she was pregnant again I think they just asked to have their stuff back. The way she told the story, she was a little bit overwhelmed but happy at the same time.
