I just SAVED a lot on Checks

Hummingbird Checks - these checks come in 4 designs. Just one of the many patterns to choose from at www.checkgallery.com and if you are a first time customer (with that bank acct. number) you can get a great introductory rate by using the code GC2455.

Have you ever ordered bank checks from www.checkgallery.com? I was able to get two boxes of duplicate checks for 8.44 . It included special script, over signature text as well. They have a wide variety of designs to select from. In order to get the free lettering and really reduced price I used a code GC2455 If I were to order plain checks (no fancy pictures) it would have cost me more than twice that from my banking institution.

This is very interesting. I never know you can print your own checks. But then again, my checking accounts provide free checks so why would I want to print my own? It may look pretty with my own designs but checks are usually used to pay corporate billers who are faceless anyway... so why would I want to waste my money this way? I seldom use checks anyway since there are other forms of online payments that are more convenient...

ACtually these are ordered from a company and not printed myself. I think if I were to print my own I would not want to pay a thing except for ink and paper :) I agree about seldomly using checks anymore - which is why I am so hesitant to pay the $15 for one box that the bank charges me. I think it is great that your bank supplies the checks for free, I would never pay for something I could get for free.

Try switching account type or bank. I am sure you can find one that offers free checks if you look hard enough. :P

You know one time I did that (i'm not sure which website though), and it ended up costing me way more than I would have spent because I had to order 4 boxes instead of two. The trouble with that was I didnt' need all those boxes and ended up throwing away 3 of them. But 8.44 is a freakin good deal, especially for two boxes. You get 1 box from the bank with 200 checks in it for 13 bux. And you can't even choose a cool looking theme for them. Maybe I'll give it a try. I've been looking for a way to get checks lately.

No, I've never used that check establishment. I personally get totally free checks from my bank, so I don't need to buy checks from anywhere. The checks from my bank don't have intricate designs or anything- but they are just checks and I don't really care!

if I got free checks at the bank I would certainly go that route - we do not use very many these days anyhow. Whenever I ordered through the bank I would order the plain blue or plain yellow (safety checks) for the same reason you mention, they are just checks anyhow. they all spend the same and with the plain I got a better price.

I've never ordered from them. That's certainly better than what I paid. I ordered ONE box of checks from the company that my bank uses and I had to pay about $15 for that box. I'm not happy about that. Thankfull I don't write too many checks.
