What do I do???

I got windows media player 11 installed in my comp, and now its starting to get slower.I just had my comp replaced a few weeks back, and so soon this problem:( I inquired with a few friends who told me that media player 11 is for windows vista and not xp.Unfortunately i only have xp.I can't uninstall the media player cos i dont have the old version anymore, and neither can I go for a vista.What do I do???

WMP11 consumes more resources than WMP10, but that doesn't mean that it is for Vista only. If possible, you should try to increase the memory size (RAM) if not, you can use other players as Divx for videos and Itunes for music

Try going on the microsoft website and finding windows media player 10. Uninstall the other one you should be able too even if you don't have a prior version. However you should be able to find it the address is http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/10/default.aspx This should do the trick!
