economic boom

its election period. and politicians start boasting their accomplishments. and one of their (assumed) accomplishments is the country's economic boom.
do you believe the Philippines is really experiencing an economic boom? or is this another election horseshit?

It is true that the Philippines is enjoying a healthy economic growth under the leadership of our present president. It did well also under President Ramos. Those news about our economic growth will not come out without basis. Before the government can claim it, they must have supporting documents to prove it. The economiists and businessmen understand this language immediately because, it is the lifeblood of their businesses' growth.

absolutely! the boom their focusing on simply increases the angst of the people, specially in the lower class. in fact, it has become pretty insulting due to the governments insistence of an economic boom. people feel they are already left behind by capitalists.
