I have never worn a lot of makeup. Just lip stick.

I seldom wear makeup only when going out on those rare evening outings. Then it's light brown eye shadow, a little bit of eye liner and mascara

I have never worn much makeup either. My sister, on the other hand, really enjoys it. : ) I guess I was born with very clear skin and haven't needed to cover up many blemishes. Also, due to a medical condition, I am either very pink cheeked or very pale. I think wearing blush would make me look clownish. As for mascara, I wear contacts and I just won't take the chance of it getting it my eye. And for eye shadow, I always thought it looked funny on me. So what DO I wear? Maybelline Foundation/Powder which is just one thing, eye liner on my bottom lid (not the top - I can never get it even), and lip gloss which I will occasionally switch to lipstick.

The rule of thumb with make up is less is more..If you can look at someone and tell they are wearing makeup, they are probably wearing to much.

I use face powder/eyeline and sometimes lip gloss. I have never been much of a makeup person. I like to look natural. I have worn eyeshadow on special occassions, but that's it.

I guess it really depends on different acceptance levels of different people. I do wear makeup all the time and I have full makeup on. I do think it's the colors which make people think it's too much. If a color doesn't go with the skin or suit the outfit, then it brings the odds out in the makeup and it is too much to people when it's odd.

i wouldnt be seen without it, lol its not a pretty sight, but for me, if anyone else notices that you are wearing it, then it is too much. Make up should be subtle and understated not obvious and loud blessed be

I think if you can tell someone is wearing make-up, then it's too much. But it depends on the style the persn is going for. If they are punk and want a ton of black eyeliner, thats the look they are going for. I actually don't wear make-up at all, but did have a make-up artist show my how to do really neutral and balanced make-up that looke natural. YOu can hardly tell it's there and it just cleans up my ace a bit.

I love make-up. My mother wisely made me wait till I was twelve to wear any, and then she showed me how to apply it properly. I like to look nice without looking like I'm wearing a lot of make-up. I like to wear foundation, blush, mascara, and lip gloss. I used to wear lipstick, but I like to kiss my babies too much and they look funny with lips all over their faces.:)

I wouldn't know because I don't wear makeup either besides the occasional lipstick. I would like to though because I have different skin tones/shades/patches on my face and I would like it to be a bit more even LOL but then again, no-one seems to notice but me :)

It's hard to say how much is too much sometimes, but really a lot of girls wear way too much makeup. I only wear powder and lip gloss. I think girls that cover their whole face in makeup are really just insecure and don't need all of the coverage. Its usually the really pretty girls who could get by without any makeup too.

It does not take a lot of make up before i feel it is too much. On ordinary days i do not wear makeup at all. At some occations where everyone dress up I will maybe wear mascara and lipstick. I am not very good at doing my makeup, that may be why i do not use much. Besides i think i am just fine without. Sometimes people will ask why i do not wear any, and say i look fresher with a little bit on, so I guess not everyone agree that i look fine. My opinion is what really counts on this subject though

well basically for everyday makeup the rule of thumb is to make it seem that you're not wearing any makeup at all (which is the hardest makeup to do) for everyday makeup you can just curl your eyelashes, make sure your eyebrows are groomed, conceal dark undereyes if you have them, powder to set and even skin tone, lipstick and/or gloss. make sure your lipstick color is not too dark else that can give away your wearing too much. and make sure to blend the concealer else, it will get cake-y if you have pale skin maybe a bit of cheek tint/blush could help. your all set!

Makeup is a personal thing. I try to tell my 13 year old twins that makeup is designed to enhance. It's not suppose to take center stage on your face. In other words, the mascara should coat the lashes but not have clumps. The eye shadow should accent the eye not deflect attention from it.

I love makeup, carolee. In fact, I have a huge stuff here. But I don't wear too much when going out. Just a dab of powder and a hint of lipstick will do. At times, if I feel like wearing a little more, I will apply an eyeshadow. :)

I usually just wear mascara, to accent my eyelashes. They are my best feature, as I inherited long ones from Mom. Lipstick once in awhile, but I have a bad habit of licking my lips all the time, so it just doesn't stay on. I think the only time it is good to wear a lot of makeup is if your profession is a Clown.

Make up is ok but none is better. People should know that the trick to good make up is it shouldn't look like you are not wearing any. It is unnatural & I don't find it very attractive. Not to say anyone is ugly for wearing make up.
