Okay, I'm tired of waiting!

I think it's cool that as soon as you post something, you have a swarm af answers. I guess that's because you have such a HUGE friend list, huh? I'm working to build my friend list, but it's going slow. I'm being kinda picky. But that's probably good. You posted this 4 days ago, but it just popped to the top, so I'll answer it too.

Hmmm - have not had so slow experiences, but if the sites are slow, which happens on other sites too, I often go to another site or get up and do something else. Just wondering how often they have to upgrade the servers when the community here grows so fast.

I hate that too. I always copy the post and hit the respond again. Sometimes it goes on through and if it doesn't I can open up the window and paste it again. I think it happens when the servers et bogged down. Too many post going at once.

It's always just when you have written a longer and more carefully thought out and difficult response too isn't it .. having been caught out a couple of times I now copy any longer replies I make or replies with lots of detail in .. at least that way I don't lose it completely if MyLot 'stalls' on me ...

That happened to me several times yesterday, and each time it did, it was on a very long post. I was ready to just quit when it finally went through after just sitting there for 3-4 minutes. I told myself I would NOT re-type the long response again if it didn't go through. I hate when that happens also. I didn't think about opening another browser while I was waiting, but will do that if it happens again.

I know that has happened to me before and it is very frustrating I have to agree with you there Well Esther this one has come through,lol. So I hope you managed to do all the other responses to.

When the computer is balking and you are snoozy it is definitely time to call it a night. I am hoping today brings you more cooperation from the computer if you get on it at all. Looking forward to seeing you around again soon. Take care!

Oh, I understand your sentiment esther. I just gave a public outcry yesterday about certain FRIENDS who all but forgot that I'm still alive. But while waiting for response to my thread, I will check through some of my friends discussions first.

i have been having the same thing too for a couple days on and off. I just chalk it up to either too many people on the site, or something witha glitch or something on the web site.

At least a new browser window works for you. It did not work for me, unfortunately, and it slows down my other windows and tabs. I am better off using one window even though it is slow :P
