Let's see. You can try putting the ring in a rose, but this rose should be in the centre of a lovely boquet of other roses. And make sure the rose can hide the ring. Arrange the situation in a such a way like going to a fancy restaurant and while having dinner you call the waiter who brings the flowers and suddenly your girl sees the ring while sneezing the roses and then you say the magic words.

Have you seen the movie Stepmom starring Julia Roberts? It has one of the best proposal scenes I've ever seen.. If I'd been a guy, I'd sort of copy it.. In the movie, Ed Harris gave Julia Roberts a small box. Julia was surprised, and she kinda thought that it was an engagement ring inside. When she opened it, she was even more surprised because she found a short roll of string instead.. Then Ed took the string and tied it around Julia's left ring finger.. then he let the ring slide down from the other end to Julia's finger.. It was really cool.. It would be better to be original of course, but I think this one is kinda ok if she had not seen the movie.. Good luck..
