welll , i got 2-3 friends in this matter who are loud talkers and trust me it get a bit bugging at times. these people donot get angry often but look like one. they are actually shouting but them being unaware about it!! i actually hav my mom also who is a loud talker...sometimes i really cant get over them...and telling them about their habbit is also a waste as they dont tend to realise this? Do share your experience ans solutions if u have...

Sometimes, it could be their upbringing. Their families may have been raising their voices all the time and to them, our shouting is their normal talking volume. If you feel they are "wrong", just try to change them. I once had a friend like that and I managed to change him to the "right" volume. :P

A thoughtful person (my mom) once pointed out that people who talk loudly are not necessarily rude/ ill mannered, some of them are in fact poor in hearing, and therefore talk loud enough to hear themselves! That has stopped me for judging someone outright when I hear them speak loudly!

I'll admit it... I'm a loud talker. It's probably at least partially because many of the women in my family talk loudly, especially my grandmother whom I lived with a lot growing up. My husband always comments on what she's saying to me on the phone because he can hear her loud and clear even if he's across the room when I'm talking with her. I do try very hard not to talk so loudly, but sometimes it seems like I just can't help it. It probably doesn't help that my hearing comes and goes, so I really can't tell how loud I'm talking sometimes now.

I feel that usually all men are loud talkers. It is because of the manliness in their voice. Even i have the habit of talking loud. If i get angry even a little then my voice just increases. But when i have some general talk i dont talk loud. I have seen people in the public transport who talk on the phone so loudly that they dont need a phone at all, instead he can shout here which the reciever will hear in the destiny place. I dont like such people because it doesnt looks good and it not even descent!

It's annoying at times especially when your on a bus or train, and your friend talks loudly and everyone can hear them. I'm not sure if they realise they are speaking loud and often I tell her to keep her voice down. I wonder if its because they also seek attention and want other people to hear what they are saying..who knows?!? All I know is that it annoys the hell out of me!

I have personally been into such situations a lot many times and cant do much then just avoid talking on such places! if v try telling them about their pitch, they retaliate saying they dont care...but yaar they dont understand that v care!!!
