I was just down stairs doing laundry our 8th load today! We do about 3-5 loads a day on average but with the kids being ill every blankets in the house was a mess. I am wondering how many loads do you do per day?

Even though there are only two of us in the house, I still on average use the washing machine twice a day, admittedly one for the tumble dry which I hate doing, but the weather doesn't permit it to hang dry them. We both go to the gym so that creates extra washing. I'm grateful is not as much as your loads!

Wow! That's a lot of laundry. There are just two of us, so we don't have a lot of laundry. And we have a washer with a really large tub, so don't have to do so many loads. Sounds like you use a lot of water and a lot of detergent. How many are there in your household? How young are the kids? I remember when my kids were at home they seemed to dirty more and more clothes as they got older. And I had thought that after they were out of diapers - we used cloth ones back then - there would be LESS laundry, not more. Hope your family is feeling healthy soon. Enjoy them while they are with you. They grow up really quickly!

You deserve some kind of award! How you manage seven kids and pregnancy amazes me. I don't think I could have survived eight children. YOU are amazing.

I have four kids sports and all that stuff, so I find myself atleast doing one load a day and if I skip a day it usually grows to 2 or 3. I try to keep up with it so I don't get behind.

I have three kids and go through a lot of towels and washcloths for the daycare business. I could easily do three loads of laundry a day. My husband always tells me not to do the last load because if you get the laundry completely caught up (it happens about twice a year lol) everyone will start puking. There is nothing quite as horrible as having pukey sheets, blankets, towels, pajamas piled up and waiting to be washed. I hope you survive! I have a friend that absolutely loves to do laundry. (she says it is a sickness lol) She is in her glory when she comes to my house because I let her do laundry to her hearts content. Too bad she lives so far away. I have promised her if I ever win the lottery I will hire her to be my laundry lady. lol

I actually try not to do laundry every day. I have 5 people who technically live here, but I only do my husband's every 2-3 weeks when he's back home from being a trucker. I probably do laundry 2-3 days a week and do 3-4 loads those days. Right now I don't have a large selection of clothing for my daughter and I, so I have to do it fairly frequently.

Wow, you do that many loads per DAY? I only do one load of laundry a week! But then again I guess that's because I'm only one person, on my own practically so I don't need to do several loads of laundry a day.
