how to publish a children's book? / myLot

My wife has written a children's book, and will also do her own illustrations. How does one present a book to try to get it published?

So lets get this straight - you are a 15 year old female, male with small hands and not getting your periods although now you are married to wife?

You tottaly got me confused. Just what do you really look like and why all this confusion about your gender etc?
