someone advertised a site on here where they pay you $5 to join, $.05 for each thread and .01 for each answer. Does anyone know what I am looking for?

I think you are talking about paidforum.net which has also a minimum payout of 50$ for the next two months. I am a member of it and they pay members who could actively refer some people .
