Anti Hunting Sentiment In America

I hunt and so does my husband. But I am a hunter that supports it as long as the meat will be used for food consuption. I don't believe in killing just for the sake of killing. I always find it amazing that the ones who are most against hunting often are the ones who complain the most when deer or other animals get in their yards and cause damage. If we didn't have hunting, animal populations would soon get out of control, that is why it is referred to as deer management. Also in areas where winter is harsh animals have a harder time surviving, the more animals there are the higher the competition for food resources especially in deep snow. I definately understand the need for it.
