Are my kids the only ones?

Who put empty containers back into the fridge and freezer? or empty boxes into the cupboard?
ACK! this really frustrates me! Go to the freezer to get some ice cream, but oh no there is none - the box in there is EMPTY. ah, guess I will have some juice instead, WHAT?!? who finished the OJ and left the carton in the fridge?
Sweety, do you want some graham crackers with your banana? okay, mommy will get it. Grab the box and it is awful light, yep - you guessed it, empty empty empty!
Is this normal or are my kids unique in this behaviour? we certainly did not do it when we were kids *cough*

How well I remember my kids doing that...LOL. Now it's just me and hubby. We do throw the empty boxes or cartons away, but we sometimes forget to put stuff on the grocery list. When I go to get something out of the fridge or the cupboard, it's uh oh...

I went to my Father in laws once to prepare him supper, he was sick. He had an empty box of milk and an empty box of juice in his fridge. I could not believ it. He said his son of age 34 did it. LOL So no not just kids do it. Some people just do it. I hate it. My kids never did it because the one time they did. We left it in ther and never purchased the week till the next week when I did grocery shopping. that broke them qickly.

hey! thanks for the idea! wonder if it would work on mine too. :) sometimes I just don't get it, I mean it seems that it would be more trouble to put it back in the fridge, cupboard or freezer than to just turn around and toss it in the garbage. unless they dont want me to find out that they ate it, or it may just be absent mindedness.
LOL on the grown men doing it as well...

LOL, well they have the concept of cleaning up after themselves anyway. If my kids finish it, I usually find it wherever they were eating it-in the living room, etc. I find empty boxes on the counter in the kitchen on occasion as well. I am trying to teach my kids more mannerly to pick up after themsleves. What a battle!

I don't have kids, but my husband is a kid. He does it all the time. Or, he may throw it out into the garbage, but not tell me we are out of it.

I have that porblem too. My hubby leaves the empty pop cicle box in the freezer and teh milk carton too. I have told him many time if it's empty please throw it away and now my daughter is doing the same thing probably because of her dad (learns it from him ) GRR

no, it's not just your kids. The real kicker is that my husband does this too. I go to get a poptart or some juice and the box/carton is empty... I have told them all a million times, the garbage can is right behind them. My husband says, "well then throw it away" lol he loves to get me all worked up.
