why do mylot users don't post their real pictures?

i wonder why some of the people here in mylot don't post their real pictures instead they have flower and some sort of stuff in the picture area.just wondering...i think it would be great being who you are and let them see you as a real person.don't you think?

Other's prefer to post other photos on their avatars for a change, and other's for the feeling of anonymity. I prefer not to post my own photo here, because I like to post this cute avatar of the Tonberry king. As this is one of my favorite character on the first Playstation game I used to play back then, in Final Fantasy VIII.
Anyways, I do have a photo of the real me on my profile, together with my niece.

i respect whatever you what to do in your profile but at least pr somehow you have to post your real pictures as to identify you really and to know that all your saying was really authenticated and coming from you..the mere perse of just seeing the real you talking the real you...okay..happy posting..

I find no problem on this, as I've been here for a long time. If you try to look at some discussions similar as your's, you'll know the reason why most of the members here prefer to post other avatars aside from their own photos.
The most important thing is, enjoy the moment here and read mylot's guidelines.

Hi nheil, welcome to mylot. I agree with you, I prefer to see peoples pictures so I can see who is the real person. I guess people have their own reasons why some of them don't do this. By the way, this is me in my pic.
