Some of my friends are already very busy with their chosen career paths and we don't usually talk to each other nowadays. Some of them are really lost in space; they're nowhere to be found. They go to places without any further notice or something.. A friendship has been lost.. Share your side, friends...

Well, I had many of friends in Russia before I immigrated. In the beginning, we stayed in touch, exchanged e-mails and I called them. As the time passed, many of them were lost... Now I'm sure we've got different interests and quite different life, so there is probably little that could connect us together... I think if I went back to Russia, just for a visit, I would like to meet them all, to sit around and remember "the old good times". But for one day only, no more. To be frank, I don't regret much about that. It was destined to happen this way.

I would say friendships usually end themselves..without you having to do anything.. I would hate to call someone up to tell them that since they have no time we can no longer be friends..Usually friendships will close themselves when interest has ceased.

I just don't communicate with them and besides I do keep myself busy with my family rather than wait for friends who are far away. But I do have friends that have gone far and we havent lost our friendship. I think you must understand that this is life ans we need to undergo journey and we must support our friends for such things.

Friendship is never lost. No matter how near or far a person may be, if you consider this person your friend, then essence of friendship remains. The only thing lost is communication. When you see each other again, one way or another, you're still friends, right... Unless you had a big fight or misunderstanding and have decided to end the friendship.

I've noticed this over the years as well. Friends just seem to disappear and apparently don't care if they are found. Too many people use the excuse "too busy" and don't make the time to keep in touch. Maybe they are not such great friends after all! I've let many friends just disappear since they didn't want to put any effort into the friendship b/c they are too busy!
