Most woman prefer cats,not all.
I prefer dogs they are very protective.
Cats....are funny especially when you scare them,the fly like superman.

This is so not true. Most of the women I know prefer dogs to cats. A dog is warm amd welcoming and loving. They like to walk with you and play. A cat just wants you to feed it and clean the litterbox. If we ever get a pet for our kids it will definitely be a dog.

I do know some ladies who like dogs more than cats, but I never know any man who likes cats. So maybe you're half right :)

I'm male, and prefer cats over dogs, though I've gotten to the point where I like some smaller dogs. I used to not like dogs at all.

I would have to say that your hypothesis is incorrect. I do not like cats and I am a women, I love my dogs, my husband likes both cats and dogs.
