two weeks ago I posted my diet plan and immediately put it to work. I'm doing slim fast for breakfast and lunch, although on a couple of cold snowy days I skipped the slim fast and opted for a cup of soup. The dinner plan is a smaller plate half full of vegies, one quarter lean protein and one quarter starch as recommended by slim fast. Once I get down to my optimum weight I plan to limit carbs and fats to maintain. Oh, and I've also joined Curves for Women and really enjoy jumping around for 30 minutes a day. I was just wondering if anyone else has had a successful diet and maintenance plan?

Congratulations hun, you're doing well and I envy your success. The best thing I can suggest is never to skip breakfast, my Mum always told me that.

yes, I've heard that breakfast is the most important meal. They say "eat breakfast like a king, luncheon like a queen and dinner like a pauper" our problem is that most of us do it in reverse then go to bed with a full stomach.

Congratulations! Sounds like you are doing great. How do you like Curves so far? There is one close to my home and I've thought about checking it out. I like the idea that it is only 30 minutes.

I just love Curves. I change into my workout duds before I leave the office then pop into Curves on my way home. Anybody who doesn't believe that the 30 minute workout can't do much really needs to give it a try. It gets your heartrate going and by the end you've worked up a good sweat. Try it and let me know.

Congratulations on losing that much weight already and wish you all the luck in meeting your goal. It sounds like you will do well from reading your post and the plan that you are following. Keep sticking to your plan and getting your exercise in as well. I had lost about 45pds in three months following my own plan and my own exercise routine. I have been pretty much able to maintain a healthy weight since then. I know you can do it as well. Keep up the good work and stay focused. :-)

thanks! I'm determined to lose 25 pounds and keep it off. I've pretty much said good-bye to some favorite things but in the long run I think its worth it.
