If you learn better by watching, then I found the perfect site for you. I just love this site and I use it often. I am the kind of person who just loves to learn new and exciting things. It is called Expert Village, it has nearly 16,000 videos to teach you skills. They are over 1, 600 wonderful experts. They even have a video to teach you public speaking in a business setting and horseback riding lessons. Getting an account at Expert Village is free! I published a similar article on gather and I was amazed at all the people who had never heard of this site. It lets you rate articles, bookmark your favorite entries, and make comments. I loved viewing the videos on self defense. I am a firm believer in knowing at least some self defense tactics. it sounds wonderful, but the problem is that I do not have sound on my computer so I guess it would not be of much use to me.

i learn alot better by doing. i hate having someone tell me what to do and then ask if i have any questions i always say i will let you know when i actually do it because i can't usually think of questions until i am actually doing it. But I did check out that website and that does seem like ahelpfully website but unfortunately not for me. good luck

Thanks for what looks like a very interesting link. I love to learn. It feels like my mind gets "cobwebs" if I don't find new and interesting things to do. I think I'm definately a hands on kind of learner. I'll try to check out this site soon.

I think a little of both - probably more like watching while I am doing.... so yes, get me that video, but have my materials right there so I can do it along with the video at the same time. Thanks for the website link... cool beans!
