How much does gas cost around your neighborhood. Here gas is over $3.15 per gallon for unleaded and Premium is up to $3.35 to $3.45 a gallon. Do you find yourself spending too much money on gas. Is it hurting you to drive work depending where you work if it is far or not?

Gas price in my area is about $3.11/gallon now. It's getting too expensive for me to drive each day to work and later pick up kids. There isn't much I can do besides maintain car well, so finally, I decided to join my friend to save fuel program. Now, I'm saving while driving. Further more, I'm also do my part to save the environement....decrease in harmful emmission from my car. So far, I don't need to use premium fuel rather, I'm using regular, so from this I already save some $$ each tank. And, I'm incraseing the MPG as I drive from this. here in india the fuel petrole is about 1.13 $ and then disel is somewhere around 1 $ per liter...... as i have heard its hard to define the future of the gas as someone said it may get over around after 85 years if we use it as like that but then since energy a form which can be converted and the energy is getting less and lesser day by day and costing most...... we should be little responsible about consuming it...........as i am a student of architecture i know 80% of the electrical energy is consumed by the buildings only then the streets........as like gases and fuels they are consumed by cars and automobiles so we should get atleast one or two options open for ourselves for transport may be sharing transport is another better idea........whatever its upto us how to handel it!!!!!!!!!

I commute 150 miles a day round-trip fro work. Believe me I am very sensitive to gas prices. It is about $2.57 in my area but I expect it closer to $2.75 by the end of the month. I am looking at alternative forms of making money (this being one) to try to help off-set some of my gas expense. Luckily I have a fairly fuel efficient car (approx 35mpg) which helps but I still spend around $280 a month just for gas to get to work.
