Ok so I am really new to mylot i was told about this site by a friend of mine who said that it was a really good site to meet others, get ideas and different opinions on life matters and the such and that it would be a good experience for me. i must say that i am really not interested in the money part of it, i just enjoying getting other peoples perspective about what is happening in my life and the such, HOWEVER i have found that alot and i mean ALOT of people on mylot are in their little clicks and if your not in them they dont respond to new member discussions,i have made friend requests and have been denied because i am new, ect. i have alos found that some members have gotten down right rude, mean and cruel to others and have in my opinion disrespected others for the way they choose to live their lives, what religion they are, ect and this is not the place that i am in my life i do not think that i have the time or the room in my life to have the negativity that i have seen. i really feel that instead of us helping each other this is turning into a teenage bickering fight (pardon my spelling) and that there are some who act their age but a lot dont and this is just not right in my life right now, but i do wish all MyLot members the best that life has to offer and hope and pray you find what you are seeking. thanks for the experience.

I'm sorry you've had such a negative experience. I think in any community, online or otherwise, there are going to be people who are snobs and people who bring you down and make you reconsider being there. I haven't found it to be as bad as you've experienced, but that's mostly because I have no use for clicques and rude, inconsiderate people are easily ignored. I simply don't have the time to waste arguing with people who don't matter to me. So I'm sorry that you feel the need to go. I wish you had had a better experience here, and it's MyLot's loss.
