Co worker scratches himself

What do you do about a co-worker who constantly scratches himself? I don't think even realizes he is doing it. He will even pick up pencils from peoples desks to scratch with. Do you tell him and embarass him?

I'd tell him..It's not polite to scratch your junk in public and if he's scratching it that often and with pencils the boy probably has a medical problem.

I'll come up to him and ask him if he's ok. If he says, yes then I'll ask him why is h scratching so much. I'd be frank with him. I'd rather him know what he's doing than us watching him do those disgusting things...Ew....
