First day of spring

Today is the first day of spring, and what a day, when i left home the sun was shining, when I reached the park it was raining, I ducked in to an art gallery, waiting for it to stop and walked out into snow pellets, this hail but larger , then a few snow flurries, 47 pictures later again it was sunny. You got to love spring, Happy spring to every one.

Oh Robin get a load of this. I WANT SUMMER SOOOOO Bad. I cooked beef sausage (garlic ones) made a green salad and a potatoe salad for supper. My husband had been holding our little Maltese dog and when he saw the potatoe salad he said to the dog, "Oh I think Mom wants summer to come, we get potatoe salad." Well he no more said that and I was on my way to the water cooler to get my glass of water and I looked out the kitchen window and it was snowing !!! I think we missed Spring. When is summer ???

We've had a weird month, as for Spring, well we've had snow the last couple of days after glorious sunshine. Sure the flowers are blooming and people are starting to cut their grass and the nights are drawing out, thankfully. But today it has been freezing cold! We still have the heating on and there is still more threat of snow! Living in the UK you have to get used to a months worth of every season rolled into one, we can get sun, snow, rain, wind the lot! But regardless of that yes happy Spring to you too!

It was very cold and windy here in Montreal for the first day of spring. But it is supposed to warm up by the end of the week.
