I do have friends who changed after they got a better job with more pay. It is worst if they have moved up the management ladder. I can understand their change as they need to keep up with their status and lifestyle. What I cannot understand is that they do not treat us as friends anymore. These friends are gradually becoming strangers to me.

Currently, I don't have friends that have changed just because a job, but I do know a person that he's a CEO in my dad's company. He was a worker just like my dad, and when he promoted to be a CEO, he has changed. I can't tell you if it's for the best, but his all life routin has change, and you can't barely laugh with him. I think that the job is making the person.

I have friends who did changed for the worst, I just ignored them and never talked at them anymore. People's mind are corrupted when most of them don't know how to handle and value money in the right way. But I'm proud of most of my friends, as they still treasure our frindship no matter what happens. Money cannot change everything that we've been through!;)

Yeah, I know some people do change a bit when they go a level up in their financial status...but am glad my friends (my true friends) don't...and hopefully won't no matter what luck they'll have in the days to come. It's somehow a sad reality that there are really people who got pretty overwhelmed with the riches they acquired and forgot the kind of person they have been before reaching to that point in their lives. Hope this won't be happening to my close friends though as am sure our relationship would somehow get affected especially if I remain as what I am now. Godbless!
