DO you PRAY everyday????

I am a believer and I put trust in the power of prayer. I pray at night and during the day, I say a silent prayer. Though, I don't visit the church on a daily basis and I'm not a very religious person. Everyday, I put my faith in God. I'm just wondering why there's a word "sorry" in your discussion. There's just nothing wrong with asking questions regarding spirituality.

RELIGION is man-made. What ever may be one's religion, all religion speak of God's existance. A communist does not believe in God, but they believe that there is a super-human being who created the earth and all that is in it. Whom do you think this super human being can be??? GOD - Thats what every Religion believes in. Going to a spiritual place to pray is not necessary. But praying to God is. When we pray in faith, we feel at ease, have peace of mind, and things work out. I pray twice a day, though most of the time in a disturbed mind, even thin my wishes had been granted many a times. I attend to most of the Sunday services in church, and other services on week days whenever possible. PRAYING is necessary for all human being. We need someone whom we can trust, talk to and pour out our troubles, and be in peace of mind and light in heart.

as being Muslim I do Pray daily five times

prayers are important in one's day to day to life.. prayer is just not asking and asking for more and more.. but it should be a one to one conversation - it should be like as though you are talking to one of your friend - In your prayers you should begin by first thanking Him for the day that has started so well and for many blessings that you have received. I feel prayer is very important and one should make it a habit to start their day by saying their prayers..

Yes,I used to pray god regularly.My mind is set up to a fact that once i pray regularly,i can acheive every thing iam in need off.So,it doesnt means that only by praying i acheive thigs,I will work for that.The thing is I will start working for that after Doing prayer....There is no need to go to temple regularly.Just think of god in your mind before u start any work,then it will be a great support for you...So, Try it, You will surely feel it

I am far from pauing everyday, I guess its not really in my family's belief. My parents still go to church but very occasionnaly. As for me, I can count it on the fingers of one hand the times I actually go to church..Its sad because I find it very conforting there and peacefull. I guess I never take the time to go even though I could once in a while ..as for praying, I don't pray every day but in stressfull moments of like I really like to know I am not alone in this world..I like to pray to reassure myself when I am scared or really stressed out. Although I don't pray much I still believe in God... I find its good for the soul to believe in somehing as strong as a god ..it could truely save your life.

Yes I pray everyday, i cannot do without praying it is like my source of existence without it I would not even exist, i need to pray everyday not only once a day but many times depending upon my circumstances, I feel nice that I can share all I want with my Lord and savior Jesus Christ he is never to busy to hear my prayers and he answers me in wonderful ways.

i don't visit to temples everyday. but i do pray daily at my home itself. i find praying to God or staying in touch with him this way is the best way to remain hopeful, spiritual, and to handle stress and anxiety in the testing times. i never forget to thank God if he's fulfilled my prayers.

Ah i beleive in FORCE than believing in GOD. Either way it is the same. I believe that there is some FORCE which boosts your confidence levels from time to time. When you are working, it all depends on how efficiently you work and really doesn't depend on some external force. But when it comes to being lucky everyone believes that they are lucky because they believe in GOD. There were times when i think of great prophets and their princples to boost my confidence and lift my spirits up.

I do believe in the power of prayer and I know that tests and studies have been done where people in hospital had prayers said for them and some in hospital didn't, they knew they were part of a study but didn't know if they were in the group that was being prayed for or not and it turned out that the group being prayed for recovered faster and did better than the group that didn't recieve prayers. It has also been shown that people who have beliefs in the spirit and life after this physical life recover from bereavments quicker and find the grieving process easier to bear then did people with no beliefs other than this life is all there is.

Not regularly but I trust in god . I generally speak "Jai shri ram" ( indian god's name ) some 100-150 times in a day .I don't visit temples , even I don't light candles but My faith in god is never going to die .

Just like you, eventhough i do not go to the temple everyday, a thought of him makes my soul pure..I believe in God..Its the faith we have on him which will not let us go down in life..A thought of Him every single day will make wonders..

yes. i pray and thank god everyday. i talk to him about everything happens to me that day,his my bestfriend, i can say now that my faith in the lord has really change... im very happy have my bestfriend.

Being a normal human i shall say, i don't pray quite often, and it's totally wrong in my religion. MY faith in God deteriorates whenever i face problems, and that is very wrong. I always blame stuff on Him, whereas i know that He did this for our own good, for He knows best. After all, He created us :). I'm trying to discipline myself to pray as often, and each time i pray, it's a serene feeling. The feel of facing your Creator, of telling Him all your problems, of asking Him for forgiveness, and asking Him for a better life. Being single, He's the One i turn to :).

hey there i am a non beleiver so i dont pray at all I dont want to hurt any of your feelings but this is the fac for me. reasons for my such attitude are too many ........

Yes, I do. But sometimes in our busyness, we tend to forget even to say I love you or goodnight to our Father. That, to me are simple prayers. Praying is commmuning with the Almighty. You don't have to be profound or eloquent in praying, it has to come from your heart. I suggest that you also attend church other than praying. You also have to engage in worship and know more about God's word if you are really willing to receive Him wholeheartedly. Why not pray about it =) God bless!

hai , ya i pray every day morning and in the evening . that way i get the strength to face the day, i believes that god do hear our prayers , how ever sinners we are , i goes to church every sunday and go to prayer meetings when ever possible. i like to give thanks for all he have given in my life. i love him

hi karvin!! i used to pray with so much concern and devotion ..but this year it has all vanished because of my dads demise ...how can it happen..' im questioning god each and every minute for the take away of my dad' i really cant understand god...this is no way to upset you i just felt to post it to you..
