Who was Your Favorite Idol Last Night?

For the first time Lakeisha was not my favorite Melinda was. I was also in agreement with Simon is she as sweet as she seems? I really like her demure she does not seem the least bit flashy or pushy. Who did you like the best?
What did you you think about the little girl who cried at the male singer who has always been the "worst"
LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Haley is showing a lot more of her talent on "American Idol." Haley Scarnato wore a skimpy outfit during her performance last night. Simon Cowell called her "a naughty little thing" and said the judges were seeing a different side of her. LaKisha Jones looked like a million but didn't sound so hot. She did "Diamonds are Forever" and was even wearing a million dollars worth of real diamonds. But Simon thought she was too old fashioned. Blake Lewis got raves from the judges, as did Melinda Doolittle. But Simon thinks Phil Stacey could be in trouble. He says Phil is being out-sung by the competition. Tonight, we'll find out who's going home.

wow i am actually disapointed on the show right now.. they have sent some good ones home.. and im sorry to say kept some bad singers in the comp. But i think as of now.. my favorite is the 17 year old girl.. not sure what her name is.. but she was the last one.. She is the best one.. so far..
I like lakisha also i think she is really good.
I hope people start voting out who really needs to go and keep the ones that should stay.. It is a singing comp.. not a popularity show..

Melinda Doolittle is always my favorite.
I thought the little girl was cute - so excited to be there she was emotionally drained. I was glad Sanjaya gave her a hug, but now we need to give him the boot!
I thought both Lakisha and Sanjaya should have gone with their other song option. It was funny - I said to my husband that the song Lakisha was singing sounded like something from a James Bond movie - and I was right. Too funny.

I wasn't too impressed with the show last night. Lakeisha has alwasy been my fav too. I think that Melinda did the best job. I didn't like many of the songs they did.
As for Haley, I didn't even listen to her singing because I was trying to figure out how she kept that top!
We now know who is voting to keep Sanjiah in the competition. The little girls who think he's a cutie. He did do a nice job last night compared to his other performances.

Melinda by far is the most talented. She was outstanding. Most of the singers on Idol this year are not good. I am not really into it like before.

My favorite Idol is and has been Blake Lewis. I've been a fan of his since the beginning! I'd definitely buy his album. He's so unique and he brings such a modern quality to everything he sings. At first I was a little partial to him because he's from my state, but then I saw what he can do with that voice of his and I became an even bigger fan! :)
I also like Jordin. She is so talented, and she gave the best performance of the night last night. She has such a rich, beautiful voice and I think she will go far, even if she doesn't win! Melinda is also one of my favorites, because she is so down to earth and her voice is phenomenal!

Melinda just blew me away last night. Lakisha started so strong but seems to be losing the edge a little. I was disappointed with her performance.

I thought the performances were all pretty good-- better than usual, at least. The little girl bawling over Sanjaya was a little staged looking, if you ask me. I thought Blake was awesome as ususal! I also liked Chris (the Jack Osbourne lookalike). And Melinda has a very strong voice and she seems so sweet! I'll be curious to see who goes-- my guess is, if not Sanjaya, then Gina.

i liked blake. he's known for his beatboxing ut i thnk he actually can sing pretty good. most of the performances were kind of boring for me though

Lakeisha in my opinion preformed the best last night. Simply the song choice and emotion moved me.

For my money, Melinda had the best performance last night. And yes, she does seem to be one of those rare "authentically humble and sweet" people. I was also impressed by Blake... he's about the only shred of originality on that show, and he did a good job. He may not win, but he's certainly the best overall entertainer in the group.
Which leaves tonight-- I guess Phil will go home, although Sanjaya SHOULD be going home... but as long as he has the lock on the "12-year old girl vote," he'll probably live another week.

Melinda was my fav too. I can't wait to see the below average singers sent home. It's so painful watching them struggle to compete. Then Melinda just shuts the show down.

1. Jordin Sparks - her best performance yet. 3rd best performance for the season (1st-funny valentine by Melida, 2nd-And I am telling you by Lakisha)
2. Blake Lewis - He's HOOOTTT!!! I must just give him points for his star quality. He may not win but I'll bet he'll probably sell tons more album than the winner.
3. Melinda Doolittle - WHy don't the producers just hand her the prize, for me it's a no contest.
