I think it can work out as long as you are smart about things. I was a member of meetup before they started charging people. I met a number of mothers threw there. I have a myspace account. A lot of the people on there I know from other places.

I also see nothing wrong with them for adults, however I feel that parents should monitor their young teens who have myspace accounts.

I think there all cr-ap I tryed meetup.com for moms meets and met a bunch of church type moms, Im nice but not like that. or over 30 moms.I just cant relate. I'm sure you know its really hard to find young moms with young kids you kids age in your area, omg...... and my space is too random, and too widely used. I dont even have a myspace account only my b/f dose, just for his rap music career. Theres no way of knowing who your meeting, some weirdos, just want you address no meeting in public first. I want me and my son to have interaction and all that, but at what coast. and to add to the stress here in canada its -30

yeah it is hard to meet other young mothers, especially ones with kids in the same age range, and especially in the same area. I use myspace though to keep in touch with friends, especially friends that live out of town, I have 2 friends who have recently moved to Cali, so it's alot easier to keep in touch through myspace, especially with the time difference :) good luck with meeting other young moms :)

I have a myspace account but all of my "Friends" are friends of mine in real life or bands that I have really listened to. I use it to keep up on what is going on with my friends since they are all still close to home and I live over 1000 miles away now.
