How many people are fans of Dean Koontz's writing? I really like his work. I like the fact that he writes about real things that most people are unaware of. He then twists them around to make them seem scary. For some reason I just like his work.

The first two Odd Thomas books are so much better than the third. I'm expecting there will be a fourth and I'm hoping it's better than the third.

You won't be disappointed if you do pick one up. I have a very hard time putting his books down because I always want to know what will happen next.

He is one of my favorite authors. Have you read 'The Husband' yet? Very good one. The most recent I've read was 'Brother Odd', although I did not like that as well as the first two in that series. I really like the way Koontz mixes humor, or sarcasm, into the story, and also references real people in his stories. My favorite all-time Koontz is 'Watchers'. It was the first I read of his, and got it all started! I always say that it made me want an Einstein, too!

I really liked "The Husband" I liked the first two Odd books so much better than "Brother Odd." I think it had a really corny ending, and that he should have ended it differently. That's just my opinion though. I've never read "Watchers" I'll have to look for it. I just finished "By the Light of the Moon" And I started "False Memory" yesterday.

He's one of my fave authors as well, monica1981. His style is quite different from Stephen King's but I enjoy his books. His novels are about things that may or may not happen but his characters always turn out to be extraordinary people even when they start out as regular guys. The titles I like the most are "Watchers", "Lightning", "Night Chills" and "Phantoms".

As much as I like his books I've never read any of the titles you mentioned. I'll have to check them out.

I've never read a Koontz book. I hear people talk about him now and then and say what a great writer he is. Actually, I'd like to find a few new books to dive into soon. Any suggestions about some of his best works?
