Whats the imporance of starting a discussion

I'm new here too and I don't know if there is an advantage starting discussion over answering ones. I do both. Most of the time I try to answer discussions that don't have answers. I also start new discussions usually to get answers to some questions and learn from other people. This is a great place to learn! I love mylot and most of the people here are very friendly.

Let your doubt be cleared. I have been on myLot since the end of October. I mostly respond to others discussions. I like it that way. I enjoy helping others and sharing my opinion. In order to maintain a little balance, I usually start 3-5 discussions a week, the rest of the time I am replying to other users discussion topics. You will still earn the same amount, in fact, in my opinion I earn more doing it the way I do. Welcome to myLot and happy posting. If I can be of help, let me know.

Welcome johnhonai. I hope you enjoy it here. If nobody starts a discussion, then nobody can respond. So,when you are comfortable, post. Until then, just respond. But, always rate the person that posted a +, unless it was vulgar, then a -. And, always rate people that respond to your post. + if it was good, - if it was on word or no or yes, and a ! if it was offensive and crude. I hope this helps you.
