Ive been married for five years and mind you there are countless downtimes than uptimes before but we were able to cope up with it and things are running smoothly up to this day. Communication is one big factor to keep a relationship going and ofcourse prayers to strengthen both parties whenever trials came. what about you? how do you keep your relationships going?

I have been in ,my relationship for 10 years. We even had our own business at one point which puts a real strain on a relationship when you work together. I have no idea how we made it this far to tell you the truth. I can say that Every year has been a better year, so we haven't been miserable together and we are not together because we have to be. Communication is the hardest thing to get right in our relationship. He isn't a very good listener and bully's me into agreeing with him. I have to have a horrible argument with him everytime I disagree with him lately, so we definitely still have some improvements to make in the communications department. I don't blame everything on him, I admit I am just as much responsible for any problems we may have. I don't know if you can say there is something to tell people on how to keep a relationship going, there are many things that challenge us and when we have to face them we work together. Sometimes its finances, other times its issues with raising our daughter. I know that having been challenged a lot has made it easier for us to grow together. I guess that could be something good to tell people.

wow nice keeping a relationship strong for 10 years and not even considering communication a big deal. yeah you're right it somehow depends on different situations we are in. the most important thing is how we keep it going. but i admire you. you lasted 10 years and yet you didnt know till now how you did it. congratulations!
