DO you still keep your photos or pictures in a photo album or do you follow the trend nowadays on saving these pictures in CDs? I love to keep all the photos that I have with myself, friends, family, etc. I usually keep it all those in a photo album not until I was able to buy my own digital camera. From then on, I save those pictures in CDs already and I'm happier to have it upload on the PC and share it with everyone else on the internet such as friendster, myspace and multiply.com. But don't you think it would still be best to print these pictures and have them pasted in your album? I do this sometimes.:) I only print those pictures that I like and paste them in my album so that every now and then, I don't need to open my PC just to scan and look at these pictures all over and over again.:)

i still keep photo albums but at the same time i save digital pictures on cds and post them on my site. I find it easy to look for pictures when they are on cd than just on albums. also, i can preserve the pictures and i could make recopies anytime i want. i just select the pictures that i wannna print and put on photo albums...

I actually do both. I still have a 35mm camera so I will always have photo albums. I save my photos on the computer but I haven't put them on disc yet. I really should as I do have a lot of digital pictures. My hubby hasn't used a photo album since I got here in 2001. I guess I am old fashioned. An album is easier to find the pic you want. Not all the people we know have computers so putting them on disc wouldn't not help them at all.

I agree. Photo albums are still helpful especially if nobody has computers at home or even when your computer is damaged. Thanks for the response :)

I am real photo edit fanatic and I do have handyvideocam that store my precious photo then download it to my computer. I can say I have 3 copies for all the events we have to be very sure I will not lost any precious moments first in my Pc, then in my CD and a prinout that was organized and hard bound per occasion. I am not a photo specialist nor an expert in this field but I really tweak and edit photos in photoshop before I print them.

Pasting photos on a photo album just gave us the ease and pleasure of viewing it; saving it in a cd is a way of restoring our photos even million of years passed by. The act of storing our photos in CDs also give us the ease of transporting or carrying it with us. Can you imagine if you have gazillion of photo albums with you while you are travelling to different places.

Both are good! I like to print the pictures and put them in a photo album but it's more expensive so I just use online photo albums such as ringo and multiply to keep my pics.

I same them on the hard drive, make a backup copy to CD and print out the best ones. It is critical to have several backups since hard drives fail after 3-6 years and the life of CDs may be also limited to 5-10 years. Always have multiple backups - you don't want to lose your treasured pictures because of tech failure.
